SUDHANSHU'S BLOG – ONCE MORE INTO THE FRAY

Why is it important to have a title on a blog post? Especially when you land up here with nothing in particular to talk about?

From a product perspective, it asks me to do something that I am not prepared to do, which is a turn off. There are days when I have closed the compose post window without writing even a word, mostly because I was stuck at the blank ‘Enter title here’ box.

I think a compulsory title box should be done away with, leaving only an afterthought box for it before one hits publish.

I wonder how many people would really write more if the damn thing didn’t exist.

Aside from that, it’s that time of the year again – the time when I make a calendar for self to remind me of this year’s goals and resolutions, etc. This time though, I am going to break everything down into small steps. Milestones. The grand vision for the year thing clearly doesn’t work.

While some might say that I achieve more than what they would want to in a year, disappointment is mostly all that I am left with at the end of the year.

Apart from all the lofty goals that I will attempt this year, the one thing that I will really focus on, something which can’t really be put into a small-steps calendar, is to try to be someone who doesn’t live with embarrassment, regret or remorse. That, I find, is more of a burden to carry than any monetary debt. And the list of exclusions includes feelings that come with the ‘morning after’.
